BIRCLAR installs new Yaskawa encoder test & alignment instrumentation

11/30/01 -- BIRCLAR, in conjunction with Yaskawa Electric America, has constructed an encoder test and alignment unit. This now gives Birclar the unique ability to repair and test the Yaskawa family of digital motors in house.

This test device is capable of testing and aligning both incremental and absolute encoders. During the alignment procedure a specified tolerance of 0.5 to 1.0 degree of accuracy is maintained with this precision instrument.

At this time, the only other existing test unit for Yaskawa digital motors within the US is owned by Yaskawa Electric America.
