TESTING SERVICES

BIRCLAR offers a wide range of testing services to ensure the integrity and longevity of your equipment.  Most services can be done on-site or at our facility, and are conducted by trained and certified technicians.

Vibration Analysis: BIRCLAR offers on-site and in house spectrum analysis by Vibration Institute Certified technicians.  Repaired equipment meets stringent GM V1 vibration specifications.

Surge Testing: This test provides early detection of motor insulation weakness and other abnormalities in the windings.  Surge testing plays a critical role not only in PM, but it also ensures that reconditioned motors will meet your demands.

Load Testing: Load testing with selectable loads ensures that your motor will perform to specifications under real life system conditions.  Birclar has full load test capabilities for AC and DC units up to 600 HP.

Core Loss Testing: Determines whether a motor has damaged core iron, and predicts a motor's reliability and operating cost following repair.

PdMA Testing: Provides detailed analysis of motor and circuit condition and evaluates all five of a motor's fault zones including the power circuit, insulation, stator, rotor and air gap. 

MagnaFlux / Ultrasonic / X-Ray: Surface and below the surface cracks and flaws can be difficult to detect without the use of advanced testing. Through the use of testing BIRCLAR can detect surface and internal cracks and flaws in ferrous and non-ferrous materials such as shafts, rotors, gears, etc; before they lead to catastrophic failure.
